The next Solar Innovation Networking Group (SING) event will be hosted by the City of Kitchener at "The Marketplace" - on the Upper Level of The Kitchener Market, right after work on Tuesday, March 6th from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm.

On a regular basis, Kitchener Economic Development (in conjunction with our municipal partners) holds an event called the "Solar Innovation Networking Group" (SING). This is a group of approximately 150 people who are involved in the local solar industry. They have varied backgrounds - manufacturers, financiers, developers, parts suppliers, etc. They get together to make connections, discuss ideas and projects and debate the contemporary issues in their industry.
 
Sponsored by Miller Thomson, the Guest Speaker is Mr. Alex Merrick of the Ontario Power Authority.  Mr. Merrick will provide Members an update on the progress of the FIT (Feed in Tariff) Program review. The balance of the time will be used by SING members for Speed Networking.
